Chris Brown is living up to his Breezy nickname and floating to the top of the 2014 Soul Train Awards nominations.
With seven nominations — including Best R&B/Soul Male Artist, Video of the Year for “New Flame” with Usher, and Song of the Year for “Loyal” with Lil Wayne and Tyga — he’s firmly in the lead.
But Beyonce is right on his heels. She has six nominations, for Song of the Year — “Drunk In Love — and Album of the Year.

Pharrell is right behind her with five nominations. The two of them will compete for album of the year, a category which also includes Drake’s Nothing Was the Same, Janelle Monaé’s The Electric Lady, John Legend’s Love in the Future and Michael Jackson’s Xscape.
