The family of Marvin Gaye isn’t fully satisfied just yet, despite scoring a win in their lawsuit against “Blurred Lines” writers Robin Thicke and Pharrell that saw them award over $7 million.
They want the song’s sales stalled completely, at least for now.
In a statement to Rolling Stone, the family’s lawyer said that it is seeking to stop entirely the sales of “Blurred Lines” until a better agreement about how the song’s royalties should be divided can be reached.

“We’ll be asking the court to enter an injunction prohibiting the further sale and distribution of ‘Blurred Lines’ unless and until we can reach an agreement with those guys on the other side about how future monies that are received will be shared,” attorney Richard Busch said. “We’ll be doing that in about a week or so.”
